Some background first...

The Kirkbride buildings are a collection of mental hospitals dotting the eastern United States built in the 1800s and still in use up to the late 1990s. In later years (after the 1950s) many of these buildings were overcrowded, understaffed, and becoming horrendously run-down. Many of these hospitals had children's wings which were connected to the main buildings by underground tunnels or corridors. Electroshock therapy was in its hayday when many of these children were admitted to the hospitals. Drug therapy was also very common in that patients were pumped full of muscle relaxers until they could give the staff no more trouble.

Guild Joins Facebook

We now have a Facebook account for the guild, I sent out what invites I could, if you didn't recieve one you can find a link to our page on the right.

I know it's a little over kill having a Forum, a Site, and now a Facebook, but I don't expect everyone to post on everything, there just there for your convenience, it's completely up to you if you choose to use them.

Joined Goth Alliance

Once again we have dipped into an Alliance, this time it's a Goth Alliance with many Guilds consisting of the [goth] Tag, I didn't realize it could stand for various other names :P

Needless to say though things have been going well so far, granted many people are inactive across the board these days, but it doesn't really seem to matter at the moment it's mostly just all casual play.  When there are discussions they have all been great to be part of, some really nice people in there... remember we also have an Alliance section on the forum if you have any thoughts.

Contest Winner

Well the Guild Colage Contest ended and well, I won (Cadaveria) :P

I think this may have been a little to involing for people to enter?, but it would have been nice to see a few more entries.

In the end though, kinda glade I won, it really did help out with re building my character, after that whole hacked incident.

For our next contest I do have a few ideas, and it will be something you can do all In-Game.  Stay tuned for details.
